Live Scribing
What is it?
Live scribing is the real time illustration of verbal and written information into digestible pictures.
It’s a great way to record events, solve problems more effectively at meetings, and engage research/event participants in your project.
We’ve used live scribing with clients to:
co-produce strategic visions that actually work
co-produce research with participants
make conference and meeting ideas actionable
record momentous events
Here’s a live scribe coming to life in real time
How does it work?
We specialise in digital live scribing. That means whether we are in person or online, we save lots of trees by using a digital rather than a paper canvas (our hands get less mucky too!). Here’s how that works in person and virtually…
We’ll kick off with a briefing call to talk about key themes you want us to capture on the day and event logistics
If in person, we bring all our own kit with us to the event (projector, iPad, projector screen, extension cables etc) and we can set up anywhere there is a plug!
If virtual, we have all the tech to beam in our digital canvas directly as a camera feed into Zoom, Google Meet or Teams.
We’ll introduce ourselves at the beginning to explain what we do and how the audience can get involved
We’ll live illustrate all the sessions you want us to (including panel discussions, workshops, parallel sessions) in front of your very eyes and you can see us the whole time - some live scribers DON’T do this.
At regular points during the event, and at the end, we’ll present back to your delegates with our visual summary to recap everything you have discussed - again, not all live scribers do this!
Illustrations are available instantaneously on your own bespoke client gallery portal (like these here) where people can download and share images on the day
We’ll follow up with you post event to check for typos, anything we have missed and complete one round of revision for you.
